Multiple Shows

brothersister2 Most of the time schools and organizations like yours require more than one evening presentation to accommodate the crowd of families who wish to see the “JD Stewart MD (magic dude) Experience the Magic” show. When this happens two-family night shows are scheduled back to back, still allowing all the students to be in bed early for school the next day. When you find your school SOLD OUT it’s seating on the first day of ticket sales, you would do well to consider a second Family Night show. If so, performance times should be adjusted. Of course you must first clear the schedule of two Family Night shows with the performer. The FIRST SHOW MUST BE SOLD COMPLETELY OUT before selling tickets for a second show. FINANCIALLY, a second show is most beneficial to YOU, the sponsor as it is the same night, an additional minimum base amount must be met and is viewed as an extension of one gross figure. No additional criteria must be met in order for you, the sponsor to receive your 50% share of the total monies received. We recommend the inclusion of the following paragraph, in the SAMPLE LETTER No. 2 if there is a strong possibility of a second Family Night show performance. (Insert after the fourth paragraph): Due to the anticipated response, we may have to schedule two family night presentation for ____(day)____ evening. In that event, the first show will be held at (time), and the second show will be held at (time) one hour and thrity minutes later. The show will be identical and will last approximately one hour and ten minutes, in time to have the children home and in bed early. All of the first show must be sold before tickets are available for a second show. Any other questions you have should be answered by your performer who may have suggestions to maximize your particular situation.
