Prepare to Perform

A Magician has integrity. People need to trust you if they are going to go along and suspend their disbelief. They need to know they are safe.

Never make someone feel foolish. Never embarrass them. Even if people laugh you have lost their trust. They realize you could have embarrassed them instead of the other person.

If you accidentally embarrass someone, apologize right away. Then you will have to work at rebuilding their trust.
